Lesson 1: Creating and Configuring a Simple Menu

Objectives:

• Learn how to create a new page and set up a simple menu.
• Understand how to configure logo, navigation menu, and button settings.

Steps to Set Up a Simple Menu:

Create a New Page:

• Navigate to HubSpot's CMS editor.
• Create a new page by selecting "Create" and choosing the type of page you want to build.

Enter the Global Content Editor:

• Click on the header section of your new page to enter the global content editor.

Set Your Logo:

• The logo will automatically pull in from your global settings.
• If needed, you can override the default logo by uploading a new one specific to this header.

Select Your Menu:

• Choose which navigation menu to use from the dropdown menu. This menu should be the one you previously set up in the navigation menu section.

Update Button Settings:

• Configure the CTA button by setting its text, link, and style. Ensure it aligns with your overall site design and goals.
