Set Generator child as default
Why Set a Default Theme?
Setting a default theme ensures that all new pages and templates created in HubSpot automatically use the specified theme. This maintains a consistent design across your website and makes it easier to manage your site's appearance.
Steps to Set Your Default Theme:
- Navigate to HubSpot Settings: Log in to your HubSpot account and click on the settings gear icon in the main navigation bar to access your account settings.
- Access Account Defaults: In the left sidebar menu, go to "Account Defaults."
- Open the Branding Tab: Within the Account Defaults section, click on the "Branding" tab to access branding options.
- Select the Themes Tab: Under the Branding tab, select the "Themes" tab located in the My Brand Kit section.
- Set Your Default Theme: In the Themes tab, click on the Actions button, then "Change Theme" - you will see a list of available themes. Find the child theme you created in the earlier lesson. Select it to set it as your default theme.
- Save Your Settings: Once you have selected your child theme as the default theme, click the "Save" button to apply your changes.
By following these steps, you will successfully set your child theme as the default theme in HubSpot, ensuring that all new pages and templates automatically use your customized theme. This helps maintain a consistent and personalized design across your website.
