Introduction

Configuring Global Theme Styles

Configuring global theme styles before building any pages ensures a consistent look and feel across your entire website. By setting your fonts, colors, text styles, buttons, forms, section spacing, and global header and footer styles upfront, you create a cohesive and professional appearance. This saves time and effort as you won’t need to adjust these settings individually on each page.

Steps to Access Global Theme Styles:

Navigate to HubSpot Settings

Log in to your HubSpot account and click on the settings gear icon in the main navigation bar to access your account settings.

Access Content Settings

In the left sidebar menu, go to "Content" and then select "Themes."

Select the Generator Theme

Find the Generator theme in your list of themes and click on it.

View Theme

Click on "View theme" to enter the global style settings for the Generator theme.

💡 Reminder: After making changes to the global theme settings, remember to click the orange "Publish Theme" button at the top right. This will propagate the global changes made to all templates using the Generator theme.

In the following lessons, we will dive into specific areas of the global styles settings, guiding you on how to customize fonts, colors, text styles, buttons, forms, section spacing, global header and footer styles, and more.
